I’ve been flipping through this every night since it arrived, and the way the Southern Ocean crash sequences are captured makes you feel the spray. The deep river shots almost glow beneath that green canopy. It’s the closest I’ll get to Tasmania from my couch, and honestly, that’s enough.

The photos of the myrtle beeches and Huon pines are stunning, and the prose makes you feel the wildness of the place. I've flipped through it three times already, each page pulling me deeper into that green canopy.

I was expecting more of a coffee table book, but the paperback format actually makes it easier to flip through while hiking. The Southern Ocean wave shots are breathtaking, though I wish there were more text about the conservation efforts.
