Discovery Microscope - 28 piece kit

The carry case is sturdy enough for my son to haul around without breaking anything, and he spent a whole afternoon hatching brine shrimp from the included kit. The 5 prepared slides let him jump right in without waiting, which kept his attention from wandering.

My 7-year-old was thrilled to find the brine shrimp eggs and dye in the kit, it made setting up our first experiment so easy. The prepared slides gave us a great head start, and the microscope itself feels nice and sturdy for a kids' model.

The carry case is sturdy enough to survive being tossed in a backpack, and the brine shrimp eggs were a huge hit—my daughter spent an hour watching them hatch under the prepared slides.
