My six-year-old was genuinely excited to prepare her first slide with the blank slides and cover slips. The tweezers are small enough for her hands but still work well. This set is a perfect introduction to science.

The pipette and tweezers feel sturdy enough for little hands, and the blank slides are pre-cleaned so we could start right away. My daughter spent a good hour just examining a leaf she found in the backyard.

My kid pulled this out of the box and had the pipette and tweezers in hand within minutes, so excited to start looking at stuff up close. The blank slides are a nice touch—we made a few different samples right away, and it feels like a proper little lab kit.
