The 7x magnification with those big 50mm lenses really pulls in the detail on a distant ridge, and the ruby coating cuts the glare on sunny trails better than I expected. They feel solid in my hands, comfortable enough to hold steady for a good while.

I took these out birdwatching last weekend and the 7x magnification was perfect for spotting details without too much shake. The rubber grip on the body made them easy to hold steady even with damp hands.

The ruby-coated lenses make a noticeable difference in bright sunlight, cutting glare without darkening the image. I took them birdwatching at dusk and was surprised how much detail I could still pick out. They feel solid in hand without being too heavy to carry on a long walk.
