4M: KidzLabs - Volcano Making Kit

The baking soda and vinegar reaction fizzed over the top exactly like we hoped — my daughter shrieked with joy when the "lava" started flowing down the sides.

My kid had a blast painting and molding this volcano, and the eruption was a big hit. It’s a solid activity, though I wish the kit included more paint colors for the detailing we wanted.

The plaster sets quickly, which is good for impatient kids, but the eruption is a bit weak even when you follow the instructions exactly. Painting it was the most fun part for my daughter.
