About the photographer

Luke Tscharke is a Hobart-based landscape photographer who is passionate about finding beautiful places and sharing them with others. What he loves most is the process: planning, reading the weather, returning across different seasons, and finally being there when the location, the timing and the conditions align to capture a scene he has been dreaming of. From the Red Centre to the Tasmanian wilderness, each image is an attempt to honour the place and share some of the wonder and stillness found out there.

Alexander ★★★★★

Luke Tscharke’s shots are so crisp you can almost feel the red dust on your fingers, and the wide panorama really pulls you into each landscape. I’ve got it hung above my desk and keep catching myself just staring at the outback shots instead of working. This is the first calendar I’ve actually look

Christopher ★★★★★

I hung it above my desk and the wide landscape shots make my tiny office feel bigger. The February image of the Kimberley is already inspiring me to plan a trip.

Brian C. ★★★★☆

The panoramic format really does justice to Luke Tscharke's landscape shots, making each month feel like a mini wall poster. My only small gripe is that the paper is a bit thinner than I expected for the price, but the photos themselves are stunning.
