My 8-year-old has been begging to do "real science" every day since this arrived, and the balloon experiment from the baking soda and vinegar setup was a huge hit. Sixteen activities means we haven't run out of ideas yet, and the instructions are clear enough that she can mostly work through them on

We used baking soda and vinegar from the kitchen for the balloon experiment, and my kids were amazed to see it inflate on its own. The instructions made it easy to follow, and we've already tried four of the sixteen activities this weekend.

We've already done three of the sixteen experiments, and the balloon-blowing one was a huge hit with my 8-year-old. It's great how it uses things from the kitchen, so we didn't need to hunt for special supplies. This kit makes learning chemistry feel more like playtime.
