Australian Geographic STEM Flow Drops

The way the oil droplets slowly zig-zag down the steps and pop back up is incredibly soothing to watch, my toddler actually sat still for a full five minutes. It’s a simple concept, but the visual effect is really satisfying and almost hypnotic.

My kids have been mesmerized watching the colored droplets zig-zag down the track, and it actually keeps them focused for a solid 20 minutes. The step-like design makes the motion hypnotic rather than just a plain bubble tube.

The droplets move so slowly and smoothly down the zig-zag track, it's almost hypnotic. Perfect for a calm, screen-free activity that actually teaches a bit about gravity and flow.
